24th August 2020 - Lock - downs and Hand - Fastings

Thought for the day :"Just heard that The Michelin Man has retired"

Trip to Llanelli and some shopping today. Nancy is doing sterling work at 41 - she is going through the garden like a steam train. No Photos - though I am sure that she will have many by the end.

On then to Cwm Aur where we have been refused entry to the home, stating that they are on complete lockdown and that includes carer - ie me.

However, they have agreed to do two visits a day to check on him and they will check his food and tablets, and assist with the bedding and gathering the laundry.

Today was Vic's 14th Day at the flat - so it was today that he was allowed to leave the flat for the first time, and the manageress collected him from the room and brought his outside to sit with Susie and myself for half an hour before staff members were called to take him back to his flat and assist in putting the food away for him.

So - tomorrow we collect him and bring him to Ffynnon Wen for the first time for lunch.

In other news - have been doing an album of Photos from last year's Mythodea when I acted as Celebrant for a handfasting in the middle of the event.
