Thought for the day:"Don’t be fooled – I was told that Mask and latex Gloves would be enough to go to the shops – when I got there people were wearing clothes as well !! Banned from Tescos!"

So, it rained a little today - but now it is very hot.
Susie is outside painting the bedside tables black. We brought the old ones but they will look different when they are painted. Similar to the transformation of the welsh dresser and drawers in the kitchen.
Adminning!! Water Board seem to have decided that as Susie has moved they should close the account at 41 - all sorted with a phone call.
Tesco Mobile are proving a little more demanding - got a PAC code to change the number - though it has not gone through yet ! Tried to unlock the phone and they say that it is already unlocked - but it wasn't. So called again thorugh landline (can't use Tesco as no mobile signal! ) and they say that they will send a text (to the phone that cannot receive it) and an email with the codes. 2 hours later nothing .
So I drive up the mountain to get a signal to phone and wait 20 minutes to be told that if the account holder is not with you then they cannot help ! Susie is sadly in bed with stomach trouble - probably an apple form the garden eaten last night. So - Not too happy I drive back to the house to find that they think someone is trying to hack the account and send warning messages ...
Back in the house I find that a code has at last come through and I pt the EE simm into the phone and lo and behold we have signal - but not on my mobile phone number which has not been transferred yet!
Beginning to relearn my old hate of Mobile Phones ( and technology in general to be honest - will face the fight with sky tomorrow over speed and routers!)
Emptied the trailer today and we have trees everywhere. Have to decide where they are going.
Transferred one into the paddock - Susie will say what breed it is ! - but we broke some roots taking it up as the roots had grown through the pot and were damaged - so Susie wanted to get it into the ground as soon as possible.
It is a start ..
Ducks seem happy with their swimming pool at last ...
Visited Vic and he seems settled though cannot be sure that he is eating enough and it is very warm in the flat and he keeps on closing the balcony doors. Worried that he may be getting dehydrated.
He has managed to go through two pints of milk so I think that he is drinking that which would be good.
Will visit again tomorrow. His 14 day Isolation stops next Monday so he will be able to go out then
Another day done ...
Cheers !
