Clearing the steps from the Rose Garden to the river... 

"What am I doing?" I hear you ask ...  I am taking the rubbish to the fire ...

A responsible job which avoids the risk of any proper flowers being accidentally removed...

Miss P arrived last night at about 10pm and cheese and biscuits and a couple of bottles of wine ensued... 

This morning - she posted the view from her bedroom ..

Rained this morning but not enough to stop a guided tour around the estate..
Also very cold so Susie is experimenting with trying to keep the fire in the kitchen running. Not totally succeeding yet - but good effort !!

'Thena decided to do a runner this morning for the first time. Had not put the fence across this morning as we have not needed it since we have been here as far as we could tell, but after letting the chickens out this morning 'Thena decided to take a walk up the lane - we don't know why.. But she came back quick enough when called - but she had gone a fair way up the lane. Luckily, there is very little traffic on our road... Then, while in the lower quarter travelling along the bee path, she decided to make it up to the top of the property again by the road and had to be followed and called back. Will have to change the chip address ....

Forgot it was Thursday today but luckily the garbage van stopped and waited for us to put the rubbish out. They are lovely around here!

Had confirmation that the House name is now Officially Ffynnon Wen. 

Roast Dinner today to celebrate visitor...
