Thought for the day :"When burying a body always cover it with endangered plants so no-one will dig it up "

Always lower on a Sunday - so will look again tomorrow ...

So.. Sunday the day of rest !!
Well maybe not so much....

Had the pleasure of hosting Steve & Krysia (purveyors of this fine establishment)
Showed them around and pleased that we seemed to meet the mark of approval in what we were trying to achieve.. was fun having guests ....

So - being restful...
The Machine Shop....

Start of the day - the doors are complete and the paneling is done

Decision to make the door in one single door rather than double doors - well it may have been influenced by me chiseling room for the hinges for an hour and finding that I had put it on the wrong side...  but in trying to line it up I found that the doors were quite light enough to hold on one set of hinges - so we have some hinges for another project ...

Still need to correct the leaks int he roofing - found the sealant - and pressure gun for application - but it does not work that well so looking for another applicator - I know they are there

Log splitter stored in the shed now - may need another coat of cuprinol on the red cedar...

External Paneling and the area above the door boxed  and paneled

First coat of black preservative and edging in place..

End of work today....

Susie went exploring... We have found the end of a drain pipe leading into a stream bed in the paddock... However - we did not know where the source was - s today we followed it up -

The stream bed where we want to put a duck pond... but we need access to water flow for this .

'Thena investigates...

And we follow it up to the water butts and more important the overflow area for the water butts and the large orange pipes - which lead to - you guessed it - a drainage pipe...

And so - piping water into the pipe area - water comes out into the drainage section - so the Duck Pond becomes a practical outcome....

And so - a tired end to the day...
Cheers !
