Another wet day today - no walk with the dog, managed to clean the duck water and wash down the chicken run. Gutter still leaking. Seem to have a drip in the roof of the Machine Shed so will have to consider what needs doing there.

Susie had a better day - no 1 chicken hanging in the Back Area ready for cleaning tomorrow. They are certainly a good weight. No 2 in the isolation cage for the chop and plucking tomorrow.

Got around to a couple of little jobs today. Secured the Flag Pole a little more. Was threatening to topple. Susie did some more Log Splitting and I cleared the solar lights and finally did the passage Lights. We had found a couple of hand turned wooden lamp holders - I am sure that they were Victor's and we decided that they would go well in the Passage where the other lights had been removed. 
Power off and installed - quite pleased with the look and filled the old screw holes to finish the job. Probably will need less powerful candle bulbs but will probably keep them without shades.. We shall see. 

Works well I think.

Still waiting on the wood to arrive to finish the machine Shed.

 

Broke out the Backgammon again this evening after dinner. Lets the dinner go down nicely before transferring to the lounge.
