9th July 2022 - More Covid - and a walk around Moilon's Field

Thought for the day :"When I was younger I was forced to walk the plank – I am older now and have got a dog"

Another  Covid day - I am recovering fairly well - a little lacking in energy but main symptoms are dwindling - a tickle cough and a touch of hay-fever style blockage (which may actually be hay fever)

Susie faring worse but she is two days behind me so hopefully she should start on the mend in the next couple of days. Blood pressure dropped suddenly, and so we have been on the phone to 111, checking that it is not indicative of kidney failure...  Blood pressure has come higher so we are monitoring and keeping fingers crossed....

Managed a walk around Moilon Fields again rather then go onto the road - it is a nice walk down the back garden over the island and out from Bluebell woods to the fields and it is about far enough in the heat for the dogs.
I didn't mention the heat - it has been very warm today - too warm to do much really though we have little inclination to do much anyway

Laurel Hedges trimmed at last

Pathway clear enough

Below the Temple of Doris

out onto Moilon's Field

It has been topped and would make a fine camping area

The only current crossing to the field

Too steep to get a car across (or toilets) at present

The River Ceri - and fishing pool

Looking out from the Lower Quarter

In other news - a new way to avoid the clamper..

And in other news - the weather looks to be getting hotter again tomorrow

That is a little warm

So another day goes by -

Cheers !
