5th July 2022 - Still under the weather and facing City Hall

Thought for the day :"You can't tell if a pterodactyl is in the toilet?... the p is silent!"

A day in bed!

The Covid test yesterday was negative not a suggestion of a line...

But irritating cough, indigestion, general wooliness, and a lethargy - so I went back to bed.
Got up for an hour this afternoon and then was able to go back to sleep again - so not al right with me at the moment.

No alcohol, a hot chocolate - that was interesting - sadly not enough milk so had to make with water with a dash of milk on the end - but still an indication that not all well.

Look forward to tomorrow and feeling better ...

In other news:
The TENS application saga continues - the TENS application was apparently blank so had to re-write it
And so an email asking for the Risk Assessment -
sent to them pointing out that it should already be on file

Then email this evening from the Public Disorder department advising us that if we put on a full Rave then we may be shut down.

I sent a polite note back to them ...

Thank you for your communication.

I am not sure if you have consulted Google Maps with regard to our premises which are very isolated

To assist I have attached a schematic.

I have not applied for amplified music

I would welcome a site visit at any time

You will also not that there were no such conditions or recommendations when we conducted a similar event on the 6 days of the Jubilee Celebration

I would repeat that this is a Charity Event to follow up on our success in raising £750 for Ukraine in the Jubilee Week. It is open to local residents and the maximum that attended at any one time last time was about 50 persons. That was of course on a Bank Holiday rather than a normal weekend.

However I can assure you that after 16 years in this business we are more than happy to comply with any and all recommendations

For and on behalf of Susan Sewell

  Oh and the schematic...

Oh well - I Suppose they are just doing the job ... but a bit of preparation may assist.

We shall see ...

Hopefully - will be feeling better tomorrow

Cheers !
