Thought for the day :"Why is Mickey Mouse’s helicopter no use in Scotland? Disney Land!"
Busy day today - strimming the banks and the pathways and the lower lawn where I could not get the go-kart in .. Also fenced all the top of the paddock. Cedric and the girls were fascinated with the task in hand and followed me all the way around. Was fairly happy that I had it all secured but later found that one of the girls was the wrong side of the fence - did she get through after I finished fencing? I do not know!
Looks as though I will have to fence all down the right hand side as well - we have done the left and the top.
'Thena seemed to be able to push into the paddock again today !!
Not sure we will ever fully dog-proof the grounds!
Susie dug over another veg bed - this time for celery ... No photos - somehow forgot.
Took the dog up the field and that seemed quite a full day ..
Susie did some fishing but did not get anything today .
Has a feeling of rain int he air so brought all the cushions back in this evening. Could be setting a routine...
So - Sunday salad for dinner and a glass of Ffynnon Rose today while Susie watched the Antiques Road Show and Country File.
Aching bones and stiffened fingers seems about par for the course..
