15th June 2021 - Chicken Run ... Not quite completed !!

Thought for the day :"I will not be impressed with technology until I can download a beer!"

What a hot day !!

And this was the day that we decided that we needed to complete the Chicken Run for the "eaters".

First Job was to clear the trailer and the car so I could get to Newcastle Emlyn to do a drug deal ! (Prescription!)  

That done - it was time to look at the Chicken Run..

So - the starting point ... 
The frame has been up for a
while but we cannot find the connectors to keep it all together 

The gutter needs to be reset 

and a small tunnel for the chicken to get
out into the run from the hatch 

That done - it was time to look at re-building the water catcher, and interesting contraption which is designed to take buckets of water from the river to fill the water containers in the Chicken and Peacock enclosures...

a little worse for wear..

and we have started

Water structure secured but needs additional work to
keep the weight in place 

Cows invaded us again !

Ad at this stage we decided that we would
have to stop for the day .. 

So back to it again tomorrow...
