Start of a new month and the weather was again very hot - though a bit more cloudy today.
Was a day to move the builder's bag of sand form the front drive - it has been annoying me for weeks but was too heavy to move - so today I "barrowed" it in to the back and cleared the ground.
Was a good start to the day. Second stage of Picket fencing was required so decided to record the process this time ... Pallet to Picket Fence.
Took Vic to the dentist today to see if he could have his top dentures fitted. Sadly his gums have receded and a spur of an old root as pushed through and caused him pain. Really cannot subject him to sitting in the dentist chair to take the spur out. He was visibly disturbed by the trip itself. Decided that he has put a stone on since he moved into Annedd and they are clearly finding the right diet for him despite his lack of teeth and that he is better off and more comfortable as he is ...
He seemed delighted to be back in his corridor. He will be 93 next month!!
Meanwhile Susie has planted more of her peonies and lupins, and weeded whole sections - but this is a task like painting the Severn Bridge - it seems never ending...
Dinner tonight was with home grown broad beans from the greenhouse. Pork Chops and potato lapkas.
and a Pina Colada for Susie as I thrashed her at Gin Rummy - again
Start of a new month so time for a new profile and cover page...
No feedback from the couple who came to view No 41 yesterday - but nationally prices have raised 10% in the first 4 months of the year ... Fingers Crossed
