6th March 2022 - Strawberrys and Clearing

Thought for the day :"If Lawyers are disbarred and Clergy defrocked, then Dry Cleaners would be depressed"

A bright day today and a walk with the dogs cleared the extra path a little more. Now getting int he habit of carrying the secateurs as a matter of course - we will defeat the bramble !

Susie worked on her Strawberry beds and has put the leaky hose through the bags and seems happy with the solution - it certainly will not require bending over !

 Toby and 'Thena enjoyed their walk and Toby was happy to wait on the bridge..

And starting to clear the Yurt area from the felled trees
Idea is to put a lot of brush over the wet patches so we can plant willow to make a hedge that will suck the water out of the ground ..  a few more days to go ..

 

Day 11 of the war in Ukraine and Kyv still stands - second day that the red cross plan for a cease fire in the south has failed to get anyone out from the cities - bad stuff.
