10th March 2022 - Woodwork, Chickens and LARP Book

Thought for the day :"If Lawyers are disbarred and Clergy defrocked, then Florists are deflowered"

Rude awakening - ton of coal arrived by 9am - I was expecting it and was up but it is still a shock to the system. But, this load should keep us going until next winter. Goodness knows what price there will be by then.

Mended the chicken door to the chick coop, as we are expecting the "eaters" to hatch in the next couple of days. They were due today but with the power cuts they could be another couple of days.

Managed to end up losing an hour while the chickens escaped from their enclosure - they certainly are missing being able to use the free ranging and take any opportunity to make their way into open ground.

Another tree has fallen over the yurt enclosure so I need to get the chain saw out again tomorrow to clear the branches. Luckily it came down now as it was too high to cut before and might well have come down upon the top of the Yurt.

Cut the posts to size. There will be a need for three more - I mistook my calculations so a trip to Newcastle Emlyn tomorrow - but I have had notice that the CMVQ patches are finished with my new supplier so I can pick them up as well and we can pop into Horeb Pets and Ponies for some more treats for the dogs..  Forgot to order earlier.

Archeus LARP Book is ready for printing and Vollsanger managed a full double spread - and looks very impressive...

Looking good

Cheers !
