Well, day 2 of the Yurt Clearance is over and a very tired Jimmy and I are feeling quite pleased with ourselves as the 15 posts are in place. They are all cemented in and perpendicular and tested ...
It was a hard day as the stones in the ground were very large and the auger managed to give us a start but after that it was digging by hand and using metal rods to try to break and dislodge the stones.
Having got eh holes in place - two had to be re-dug as they were just a few inches out of alignment and Jimmy was too much of a perfectionist to let me get away with a bit of a fudge - so we dug again - it was worth it in the end ...
Goodness knows how much this is going to cost !!!
In other news - my Ukrainian Flag arrived today in an envelope marked "Fragile - Handle with Care"
Not sure why it was Fragile !! but it is flying in place under Owain Glyndwr and I have posted that Putin is barred from the Crimson Moon - I suppose that we are liable for Russian Sanctions now!!
And on the subject of Mr Putin ...
