24th August 2021 - Peacock Houses and Weeding the Terraces

Thought for the day :"Starting to write a book on high winds and tornados – it is just a draft at the moment"

Was a long day yesterday but decided that we should start on getting the Peacock House up an running by the end of the day - failed !

But had a good stab at it. 

Needs some support and repairs to make sure that it will be rat proof ..

The day beat me - and thought all sections are now robust - they are not yet in place and built - maybe a job for tomorrow 

Meanwhile Wojjer is up to weight and will soon be let out with the others...

After a week of overcast and rain - on the day that Bunnie is back in Crete, we finally get the fully sunny day !!

While I am working on the woodwork - Susie is tackling the weeds on the Rose Terrace 

Job well done !

And it must be said that the terraces are full of colour at the moment 

And the roses are glorious..

Nancy and Torren popped in this evening to drop off the Burgundian and tables after a week "sitting in a field"

So - will say goodnight
