13th August 2021 - Clearing the Beer Garden (3)

Thought for the day :"One door Closes – another door opens .. Or you can re-open the closed one – that’s how doors work!"

Day three of the great beer garden clear out ...
And finally I think that we are almost there - just the Wendy House Chicken House to be taken down ..
Other than that I am fairly happy with the work of the day.
Particularly enjoyed hiding the trailer and turning it into a work bench or service area for the future
I can see four kegs on the the stand with hessian covering the paint marks ..

A few photos ..

Start of the day - cleared most of the wall side yesterday but this side was still a challenge

Still the party tent to clear down to the Chicken Enclosure
And the brambles and nettles need to be removed from the stage ground

And after completion - sand moved into the red crates - trailer hidden by doors and secured
paving stones stacked  and buckets stored underneath the trailer ...

View 3 - stage area now with dual level

Shade area

Wood Store now has a front cover

And as the rain was holding off slightly - 'Thena was a bit peeved that I chose to get the go-kart out and cut the lawn before the rain actually started. Mostly completed, hopefully can get the hand held out tomorrow to finish the edges - and maybe get Tolly's slope done - we shall see..

Meanwhile Susie worked hard to clear the patio of weeds - a back aching job trying to get the weeds out without ruining the cement between the stones - contemplating getting one of the patio burner tools - should be better than trying to use weed killer...

But that was also the day that a pile of cardboard was burned in the paddock - also clearing much of the Himalayan balsam that we are clearing from everywhere, and took the opportunity of "monitoring" the fire from the quietude of he Paddock Hammock - a very peaceful place to rest for ten minutes - I don't think it was much longer than that!
Also found most of the rubble bags and dragged them to Gully Foyle - which is growing well.

So - I am not surprised that  feel a little tired this evening ..

Cheers !
Seems about right for me ....
