Thought for the day :"The company that makes yardsticks say that they will not make them any longer"
(thanks Swansea Jack)"
No rain today. But though the sun was out it was not that warm - but major tasks were required...
As it was rubbish bag day I went round the front of the house and found that the hedge really needed a trim and the greenery along the pathway needed removing - so that was a first task of the day ..
Susie was down the ponds ..
One of our newly hatched pea-chicks sadly did not make it through the night - having mistaken the water dispenser for the electric chicken and presumably did not keep warm enough through the night.
The incessant cheeping suggested that we really needed to find a companion and a call out on the Facebook Chicken pages led to a day old chick being found in local Tresaidd - and it seems to be working - will report again tomorrow...
Wooden Hedgehog house worked but needed a floor, which was done early this morning and seems to be frustrating 'Thena who is now concentrating on the blue box. Looks like I may be making another box tomorrow.
But the main task of the day was to try to make some sort of sense out of the mess that was the Beer Garden - it seems to be getting worse rather than better !
So this is how we started ..
Today Freja got some amazing results for her GCSE's - and that reflects a lot of hard work and effort and we congratulate her ...
And so another day is done ..
Cheers !
