9th August 2021 - Springs, Wardrobes, and Wood Piles

Thought for the day :"I always keep an empty bottle of milk in the fridge in case someone wants a black coffee"

Rain sort of held off most of the day thought we had a monsoon or two to brighten our tasks..

Susie worked like a good 'un clearing the springs and  getting on top of the weed and the balsam and the general weeds..

I worked on getting some costumes into the wardrobe and clearing some space for the future tasks in clearing the outer tavern...

But I started the day by walking the dog up to the Fields and they are a blaze of yellow at the moment

And down the bottom Quarter..

Decided that this will be the best place for a Giraffic Park Sign..

My thoughts ...

(just thinking out loud - honest )

and then Dinosaurs on the other side ... makes sense tome .. 

But back to work ...

Costume Wardrobe updates..

Not easy to show in photos as the area is too small - but suffice to say that all the costumes and additions are in the wardrobe and there is still plenty of room 

And then it rained !!

And so the next task is to clear the stage area in order to stack the wood pile while we clear the beer garden to set up the stage area and then get rid of the wood pile ..  I think that makes sense..

So the start ..

and final for day one!! - pallet down..

But rest of the beer garden is needing some attention 

Whatever - at the end of the day we are both pretty pooped !!
