Thought for the day :"Someone glued my deck of cards together – I am having trouble dealing with it"
Start of the day was raining though the temperature was not so low.. but some tasks had to be done .
The new submersible electric pump worked very well on emptying the Duck Ponds, clearing the duck pen, filling the water barrels, and a fruitless trip to Beulah and Cross Inn in search of layers pellets for the poultry - forgot that these shops close on a Saturday out here in Wild West Wales.
Managed to dodge the showers to take the dog up to the field and back, and then started work on dismantling the Wendy House Chicken coop... A chance to try out the reciprocating saw which had never actually been out of the box - so a learning curve once again.
Taken apart and cleaned - found a massive wasp nest in the roof - empty I hasten to add..
But as the day finishes - the Beer Garden is looking fairly clear ..
Off tomorrow to meet up with the family at the Hungry Horse at Seven Springs and collect Ben and Scarlett - looking forward though this will be the longest drive that I will have done for two years
three and a half hours driving - ho hum ...
Maybe not too late to bed tonight
