9th January 2021 - Morning Walks and Insurance Sorted

A morning walk ...

Noobie error this morning - emptied the duck pond to clean it out - forgot that if it is so cold that the water is frozen - the pipes to the taps may be frozen as well - no water to re-fill the pond - oops !!

Well - the ducks could not swim in the ice anyway - so we will have to wait until it warms up a bit for them ..

Chopped wood with the log splitter - made some kindling - very cold to day - though in the sun it was not too bad.

Quiet day - Susie under the weather and stayed in bed - got up for a while and went back to bed again ...   examining Variant Angina -  affected by clod weather and cyclical .... 
Walked dog up the lane and back along the leat to examine the borders of the land.. 

bulbs growing everywhere ...

Sorted car insurance and House insurance with Admiral multi today - managed to get the initial price of £1,106 down to £646 for the car a buildings on 41 and house and buildings of Ffynnon wen - might have got it down further by changing - but was close so went rot it. Had not realised that I was paying 19% apr for credit by paying monthly last year - decided to pay up front ...

Don't seem to be spending money the way I was before ...

Covid becoming scary in this country. Impeachment plans for Trump in the US.

But had a phone call from neighbour Johnny and Kaye to say how much they are enjoying the Spiced Mead ..  made me feel better - bottle of Rioja tonight and a glass of scotch ...
