12th January 2021 - Difficult times - getting better

Thought for the day :"Improper Fraction Helpdesk. Now open 24/7"

A better day today - Susie back to (almost) normal and we spent some useful time spreading straw around the chicken and duck pens to try to get the mud down a little.
Jim passed by and said that he had been watching rats eating the Peacock's food.
We found a hanging food feeder and hope that the peacocks will find out how to use it when they get hungry.

Trying to see if we can use the wood burner fan onto the main fire in the living room.
Seem that it does not want to work properly when it is not sitting on the fire - but we have a problem in that the cowling is shaped and there is no horizontal surface to sit on. It is working slowly but without much efficiency. Sadly - the magnetic versions see to cost in the region of £130 which seems a little excessive.

Today was a lot warmer than recent days and we have not needed to use the extra electric heating.

Sarn Helen Rose Croix Zoom meeting was a presentation to British Legion at Lampeter and Aberaeron of £500.

In other news we seem to be heading for Trump's impeachment. FBI warning of armed threats for the inauguration day both at Washington and all states. Scary times.
Voltaire said it very clearly... ""It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong."

UK is hitting very high hospital figures and the shut - down is being tightened across the country. More fines for leaving home. Restrictions on shops, and generally a heightened concern.

Bunnie and Scarlett tested negative and clear in Crete which is good news.
Nancy still isolating in Aylesbury

Difficult times..

I raise a glass to all
Cheers!
