8th October 2020 - Peacocks and Logos

Thought for the day :"Finest pseudo-confectionary.. Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good fakes"

So, on the day that the Government decides that musicians and entertainers should retrain for a more useful job I saw this comment ...

But on other thoughts - this seemed a nice positive start to the day ..

“Drink water from the spring where horses drink. The horse will never drink bad water.
Lay your bed where the cat sleeps.
Eat the fruit that has been touched by a worm.
Boldly pick the mushroom on which the insects sit.
Plant the tree where the mole digs.
Build your house where the snake sits to warm itself.
Dig your fountain where the birds hide from heat.
Go to sleep and wake up at the same time with the birds – you will reap all of the days golden grains.
Eat more green – you will have strong legs and a resistant heart, like the beings of the forest.
Swim often and you will feel on earth like the fish in the water.
Look at the sky as often as possible and your thoughts will become light and clear.
Be quiet a lot, speak little – and silence will come in your heart, and your spirit will be calm and full of peace.”
Saint Seraphim of Sarov

The Vice Presidential Debate was on last night - I went to bed - I have heard enough fiction today.
Trump calls his Covid Diagnosis a "blessing from God" and claims that the experimental treatment that he received will be available for all soon. I had missed the fact that many thousands have already voted on the Presidential election, both in person and via "Mail-in" ballots. Arizona apparently were voting from yesterday. What a way to run a country.

In other news I designed a new Logo for Ffynnon Wen... rather pleased with it..

It also appears without the words... just as FW

That will be the basis of the labels for the Ffynnon Blanc Wines and later the Ffynnon Why-not? Scottish Hand sanitiser...
Also decided that as we have people walking past the house and up the road where you can see the Peacocks - it would be nice to have a waterproof placard that says something about them ...
and of course in Welsh..

May have to do one for Tesco and Novochok and Cedric and the Girls
We shall see..

Off to Newcastle Emlyn to do some shopping and get some cable ties to finish the Chicken run.
Might get some drainpipes for the duck pond as well - got soaked emptying the pond out yesterday. Must start wearing my wellies!

Cheers !
