18th April 2022 - Yurt Patterns and a bit of Tavern Comparison Nostalgia

Thought for the day :"The Town Executioner has had his basket stolen... Heads will roll!"

Yesterday we collected a folding table for the yurt from Sarnau.

Today I popped down to Gwbert to collect a small table for the yurt.

Also decided to get some little stake solar lights for the pathway by the Yurt and top get some solar strings for the inside of the Yurt and for the Temple of Doris.

Cat joined us and I started painting the wicket fence that goes around Susie's herb garden.

And that was about the day  really ...

I took some photographs of the painting inside the yurt so we can match the furniture .. 

My mother's Mongolian Warrior has found a place in the Yurt 

And in other news the Bluebells are coming out more 

Tried taking a picture of the fairy lighting in the Yurt but it is too dark ...

 

Oh well!

CP posted this rather nice photo of the Tavern and Mhorish and the night sky - not sure if it is Pete's but whichever it is really fine...

And today, as if to put it all into context, bespoke bars posted a picture from the Sealed Knot event in Frome and it brings it home to me how far we took re-enactment / LARP bars in the time that we worked there..

Ho Hum....
