Went into the mountains yesterday to see if we could find the Vultures that we saw last week. They were by a deserted village up near Dories.
We decided that we would drive passed Friends and look again to see if they were anywhere to be seen. Sadly - we could not see any and drove on down towards the sea looking for a place to turn around.
When we finally got to a turning place and started back we could see a few in the far distance and tried to find the valley where they were circulating today...
As we got back to the point where we had seen them last week - a couple could be seen flying very high - and slowly they drifted over us and away into the distance.
I took a few shots with the zoom - but they were very high and not really very good ...
If we can get nearer to them in the future - I may be able to get some decent shots - note to self...

Friday is with us already and tomorrow is our last day. So we will head off to Malia for breakfast and then on to Star Beach resort at Hersonissos to splash and possible meet up with some friends from Mythodea....
