A short and brief break in the weather - enough time to get up and clear the gutters on the veranda.
Cleared but it looks as though we need anther down pipe in the middle as the flow is not even all the way down the run ...
In other news - Squeak-Pea the Pea chick is doing well - but looks to be an only pea chick
In other news - My single Gladioli from the lower quarter is a lovely purple colour - but was flattened and rescued for the kitchen ..
Also, a sudden power outage in the freezer room and the veranda lights failing to come on. Culprit seems to be a rat chewing the wire - so a cut and join ends up with things working again - though another two wires have also been cut and I cannot find out what they are meant to be doing !!!
But another day - Nancy has had an offer on their house - so fingers crossed for a speedy solution and completion ..
