Thought for the day :"I just got kicked out of a secret cooking society. I spilled the beans."

Surprise gift through the post this afternoon - a lovely gift from Rachael and John next door at the Romany Caravan - for helping out with the rat hole and lawns - not necessary - but a lovely thought ..

Looks like it could be expensive!

Lawns get a once over again - and the flags are flying nicely ..

 

Meanwhile, the lower quarter gets a final cutting or the year ..

Though not without the use of the winch..

Toby gives a hand.

But an effective day. Strimmed the pontoon and the edges of the lawns and also popped up to the seat on the lane and strimmed that area. 

All in all - a good day - Susie off to Crete in the morning
