Nancy and Torren popped up today to walk the dogs...
Lovely having them close enough to be able to pop up for an hour ...
Spent some time on the Parking lot and have flattened an area big enough to hold the small trailer now. Need more hardcore now - have put some rebar to give a shape - still not sure if I need to put a retaining wall - but am thinking that if I put a car there it will be near the trees - only really need the edge for the trailer - we shall see..
Started to rain - so spent a little time doing some housework before Susie comes back tonight - her flight is currently delayed by an hour - so looks like a late trip..
Went to shut the chickens in and found that they were all really miffed - the door to the coop had blown shut and they were all perching in other areas to keep safe. Bra was in with Squeak Pea sitting on the cage so I am hoping that they are keeping each other company in the day.
Sadly - bottom fairy lights are out again - it has been windy so possibly another break - or they may nee replacing with a better set - I prefer the ones with the LED welded into the wiring rather than these.
Still walking to the enclosure there was a moment to admire the flowers that are still out even though it is October..
No idea what this one is - near the paths at the polytunnel - will edit it later when Susie reads this ..
