8th April 2015 - No More Crowing

Thought for the day:"I went to a fancy french restaurant called 'Deja Vu'. The headwaiter said, "Don't I know you?" "

So, another day trying to get the house ready for sale. Top rooms now painted and the walls washed down ready for another coat of paint. Susie hand painted the freeze and looks as good as the original.
Cleared the top landing and took the welsh dresser and associated stuff down to the warehouse.

The Cockrel finally ended his days.  Was always going to happen I think after chasing and pecking Susie - not a good step, and though it was a very pleasant crow, we are still living in a terrace and we decided to avoid the likely complaints.

However, it had been "tupping" Road-runner - our crazy Polish hen, and she has produced 6 eggs that may well be fertilised - so we will see if we have any progeny - they will go into the incubator next..

The nine in the basement are growing well and there are still eater/layers in the outer chicken run...

So - Chicken Run is looking up...

Managed my 5th Degree in the Societus Rosicruciana in Anglia today, or rather my first degree in the second Order - that of the Adepts - a lovely sunny day and a glass of Chateau 41 in my hand.

Sadly, this particular batch is rather cloudy - drinking it from the demijohn which is probably a bad idea...  Oh well - what could possibly go wrong ??

Night ..
