13th March 2025 - Cladding the Lower Quarter Wood Stores

Thought for the day :"“I hate sitting in traffic, because I always get run over.”

– Milton Jones

Wet (early but dry during the day)
2025 : Wet 32 : Dry 39

Rain overnight but a clear sky by morning and the temperature has been dropping steadily

But start the day with the Yurt Lean-to which has been acting as a store place for the old raised walkways which are now forming the panelling for the wood store front.
This area needs clearing to add the cooker and wash facilities.

The start of the day and the wood shed unclad.

Tin cladding to the rear.

And the front has the panelling completed
Only one side panel of tin required -

Meanwhile, next to Sarah's Chain Saw "Monster"
Moved one of the blocks around and added a Welsh Dragon

And on the "Log Feature" by the Springs - we have a new observer.
Gregory the Griffin

In other news, we seem to have a small mouse in the living room. I am in the doghouse when I forget to bring my cheeseboard wooden plate back at the end of the evening. Susie lost some chocolate when she used to leave it by her Computer.

We have tried the humane mouse trap many times and it seems to be able to get the bait but escape each time - we don't know how.

However, today she found that the pillar candle by the window sill in the living room has been nibbled and chewed.

And so tonight we will resort to a real muse trap - we shall see what happens.

Cheers
