16th May 2023 - Polytunnel and Flowers

Thought for the day :" I bought a new strimmer today. It was expensive, but it is cutting hedge technology."

Another sunny day today - we are doing well with weather for the moment 

Early start on the Polytunnel with another bed filled with our own compost from the first compost bed..

Placed the scaffold boards onto the central beds  to allow some more of the flooring to be filled with stones from the beer garden ......
General progress here - a little bit each day ..
Went to Pets and Ponies and bought three more straw bales to act as mulch for the central beds to allow us to use less actual soil to get the height.

It is the end of the day and therefore we will have a little "soft Drinks" - Susie has the Amstel as it has no Wheat and Cat and I will have a Carling ..

But still time to walk around the gardens as we put the "girlies" to bed ...

And so - another good day - 

Ankle still rather sore but Susie getting more mobile
