11th May 2023 - And back to Gardening

Thought for the day :"Sadly we've lost some of our local businesses recently - But the florist is blooming and the DIY shop is making it up as it goes along"

Susie wants to put a frame up for her courgettes this year - so that she can plant lettuce and others underneath  - so today was breaking pallets to make 2x1 meter length slats of wood ..

And it is time to plant the peas from their gutter ..

And Susie started on the sweet pea pots ..

wrapping bailing twine for the sweet peas..

beds rotovated and pea nets put into place 

Doesn't really show - but trying to catch the contrast of the Chilean Fire Tree and the Yellow of the laburnum ..

This goes better 

Magnolias - Susie knows their name now so may edit this in  later ..

Wild Poppies - haven't seen these last year - but they are well established..

And back to the magnolia
