19th June 2022 - New Lights and More Veg

Thought for the day :"The “I” and “Y” in City are silent"

Was Sunday and not raining so after a walk with the dogs I decided to cut the lawns. Seems I still have a slow puncture on one of the tyres - but the foot pumps works.
Lawns cut and made some bunting for the front of the Tavern from a clothes hanger that I have been carrying around since the days of the Wolves Kitchen! Finally found a use for it.

Then strung the 110 meters of fairy lights from the lower quarter to the top of the garden, allowing for some ambient lighting for the future when people are wanting to use the camping area and Yurt.
Had to fly most of the fairy lights form the trees - throwing up bailer twine to string it to the branches.

Will have to wait for darkness to check how it looks and whether the timer works properly.

A look around the garden shows that we have so much colour even though  the azaleas and Rhododendrons are passed their best.

A blaze of colour for the new Dragon

India Star Clematis in full bloom

Solar Peacock has new position on the patio.

And Susie cutting the dead heads from the Roses

And Susie harvested some of her wares form the greenhouse for dinner tonight

Cheers !
