14th June 2022 - Clearing the Waterfall

Thought for the day:"If apple made a car would it have windows?"

Landie back and working well !!
Starting problem sorted - porous pipes on the feed...
Oil leek fixed - so should be good for trip to Newport on Thursday

Guests left before lunchtime leaving me time to go to the Post Office Van at 1.30pm in the village to put Susie's winnings from the Premium bonds into the bank.  Stopped and had a chat with a newcomer from Canterbury (forget his name - will come to me sometime) in the old Watch Tower opposite Bro Hawen.

As I came back I got into conversation with Bill who lives in the Bro Hawen, who has  Harley Davidson chained to his lamppost and a lovely fellow he turned out to be ..
We shared a Guinness and went in to meet Ruth his wife ...
and he seem,s to have a micro digger which he is happy to loan out and a roller for the camping areas. We will have to cultivate them a little more - lovely couple..

Susie decided to attack the waterfall - which needed some work to be honest - but I felt rather like a quiet day and took it....
