10th June 2022 - Garden Blooming

Thought for the day :" Yesterday I accidentally swallowed some food colouring. The doctor says that I should be fine, but I feel like I've just dyed a little inside!"

At last a little bit of sun for June - though still managed to get a couple of rain storms - but overall dry enough to close up the trailer tent and get the John Deer out..

So Cut the lawns and got the place looking ship shape. Needed some growers pellets  up to £10.60 now (was 7.80  at the beginning of the year) so loaded up with pallets for the next stage of the lean to at the yurt. But not today. But got petrol for the machines - £1.86.9 for petrol and £1.93.9 for diesel !!!

Susie has been covering the blackcurrants with another set of netting.
The Strawberries are doing well...
The garden is beginning to really bloom though the azaleas are finishing ...

So some pictures from the day ...
