20th October 2021 - Lower Quarter - and no Central Heating

Broke out of my lethargy today and went down the lower quarter to attack the foliage left from the weekend ...  and managed an hour before the rain came and stopped play. But Toby and 'Thena seemed to enjoy being with me down the bottom of the land - seems 'Thena no longer wants to run off ..  Which is good!

Took the opportunity to clear the spring bubble pond...

And it is getting close enough to Halloween to start thinking about putting the Halloween Wobblies out...

And Susie made her Bullace Jam so I finally got around to labeling the jars ...  Only been a couple of weeks!

And as Susie needed to go to the Optician, we decided to take Toby for an acclimatisation walk in Cardigan - got him all ready in his harness and then we were delayed a bit so he got fed up and went to sleep 

In fairness he walked well on the lead - so we will have to do so again - he gets so excited when he sees other people - he is very friendly

Later - he attacked his bed...

So, got  some more fairy lights to light up the passage to the Ty Bach and the tunnel, and Susie got some noodle gloves to dry the dogs with - special from Aldi ..

Looks as thought we cannot have the LPG gas Central Heating system as there is no area 7m x 8m clear to  site the tank - such are the regulations. Apparently, there may be more grants coming out in the new year for Solar so we may be able to look at that then.

In the meantime the house is pretty warm so we are not suffering ....

No symptoms from either of us yet so keeping fingers crossed re the Covid.

I decided to cancel trip to Leicester to get my Promotion in Grand Rank in Athelstan. 

Cases are over 49,000 a day now and over 450 per 10,000.

It is all getting a little scary out there again ...

And so we can have another Green One
