Back from Wigan - with sad news.. While I was away..

RIP Rusty - the Tavern Dog...

I am touched by the number of people who have taken time to respond, add thoughts and best wishes regarding Poor old Rusty...

For those who have supported us in the Crimson Moon over the last 11 years....

Sad to inform everyone, Rusty collapsed unexpectedly yesterday (Saturday 7th June) after a short walk. The Vet diagnosed a massive bleed around the heart, and there were no options to assist his recovery...
Rusty the Tavern Dog will be sadly missed by us all.......
He was eleven, but we had expected him to go on for another few years at least...

There are in excess of 105 people who have spent time penning a thought, even if short, and more than 25 others who have acknowledged his passing...   I am grateful to all of them ....
