Was an interesting trip out of the village as the first two hills I tried to get out of town on were non starters due to the 2 inches of packed ice and snow - the road to Penrhwypal had been gritted possibly and though it was very slippy in the volvo managed to get out to he main roads. By the time I got to Pencader it was fine - and Llanelli had no snow!!
But stayed over with Chris and Vicky and had an enjoyable evening with them and a bed for the night ready for Athelstan Installation tomorrow ..
