8th June 2023 - Pathways, Vets and GP's

Thought for the day :"I’m at a place in my life where errands are starting to count as going out."

Mixed day with not a lot achieved but a lot tasked...

Up early to get 'Thena to the Vets for her operation on the growth on her eye.

Toby got into the car on his own volition for the first tie - though tentatively - he has progreesed today as he has been in the car three times.

Took her down and came back and decided to cut the Romany Caravan Field ..  They had strimmed it yesterday so it was a good opportunity to get the whole site looking good. 

And so to my next project - operation solar water feature - in principle working with the new leisure battery - but will have to see what happens next 

Have the panel - the wiring from panel to controller =- bought 50m dc 12v cable for the pump and 50m hosepipe - now too see how it all fits together 

Back to Newcastle Emlyn for Susie to go to the Docs and check after her day in Bronglais yesterday - change of meds and increase of one to try to stabilise.....

Which leaves me with the gravel and the pathways ..

Worked fairly well with three caterbarrow loads .. getting there slowly 

 

Cleaned the Duck shed out - decided that was a Thursday job and to be fair it was not too bad having only been a week.  Mended the paddock gate and changed the fixings so they work and put a bar down to stop the gate opening too far..

 

And picked up 'Thena from the Vets..

She is being very good - not trying to get rid of the collar but keeps bumping into things

Can't see her staying in that for a week !!

 

Pizza Thursday with ham and pineapple - and a bottle of shed Shiraz..
