Trip to Cardigan today to pick up some more fine mesh chicken wire to protect the Chickens.

Sadly lost one "eater" chick last night to a rat - I hadn't shut them into the secure coop.
Also picked up some foal to fill the roof sections for extra protection.

Took the opportunity to buy some smaller screws as well - seem only to get inch and a half and larger from the local suppliers, 

A high point of the day was a post this evening from the Coopes (alex) regarding an evening out ...

Thought I should let you know this. We went into a pub yesterday for a wake. It was a really old pub and jasper walked in and loudly said "well THIS is the most wonderful taven". He then proceeded to talk to people about the difference between a taven and a pub before wondering off and reading a book next to the fire . Xxx

Seems all the Tavern training has paid off ...

Susie came for a walk  up to the fields to see Toby at his Zoomies. Her back is much better but her hip is a little worrying.

Cat Durant sent me a Green One piccie for the gallery ..

I enjoyed this one.
