10th November 2021 - Wood and Weed Clearance

Thought for the day :"I’ve been breeding racing deer lately... Just trying to make a quick buck."

Somehow 'Thena has found a way out onto the road again - embarassed as neighbour down by the main road brought her back this morning. Searched but cannot see where she is getting out at the moment - so we will probably have to stretch fencing along the whole length of the top of the land by the road ...

Task for tomorrow ...

Today Susie cleared the azalea beds and weeded the herb garden 

My task was to move last year's kindling wood form the storage shed to the coal shed and to fill the storage shed with the wood collected from the lower quarter on the last trip which was still sitting on the caterpillar truck - so that is clear for the next load.

Also tried some of the logs that were in storage and they seem to be dry - and the log splitter managed to cut them easily.

Susie a bit poorly again this evening - having overdone the weeding and her back is sensitive again ..

My teeth whitening is progressing and will be on day 7 tonight and seems to be making a difference. Also been off the sauce for that week so Pizza Thursday may have a nice bottle of White wine tomorrow - can't drink the red as it will stain - it has also been a week off tea and coke - so enjoying a nice glass of water again this evening
