Well, after a glorious day yesterday when we managed to Show Robe around the grounds and explore everywhere in shirtsleeves, today started very cold an blowy.
I know because thought we managed to get to bed about a quarter past four I was up at a little before 8am to let the Ducks and Chickens out and retire to the safety of the kitchen fire.
Western Power tree surgeon called to check which trees need to be topped to keep the power cables clear. Not sure when they are likely to attend.
No dog walking - indeed 'Thena did not stir until Susie got up at about 1.30pm.
Rob was not much better!
So no photos today - just a day in inside and then a collection of ASDA delivery this evening.
May be slightly earlier to bed tonight.
Expecting a delivery of two pallets of plastic grids sometime tomorrow. Just had the email saying that they normally transport on a 40ft wagon with rear lift - That will never get here, but of course they sent the email at 11.27am today saying that any problems had to be notified to the delivery company before 2pm - with no contact details for the delivery company!! Sent an ebay message this evening when I saw it at 9.30pm
They say that if they cannot deliver then there is a surcharge of £50 for re-delivery.
Luckily, I had the phone call yesterday from the selling company when we discussed that they would not be able to get anything larger than a 7.5 tonne truck up here.
That looks like a fight to be had !! Hoping that is is just a standard email that is sent out every time.
