21st May 2020 - Burry Port Harbour and a Squirrel

Thought for the day :"Electricians refuse to fix electrical circuits."

Office of National Statistics

Seems the WHO declared yesterday to have more cases of Covid reported in one day than since the start of the pandemic... 106,000, mainly Russia, USA , Brazil, and possibly Saudi Arabia

Sunny day yesterday and a trip to Burry Port Harbour

There were only a few people out thought it was noticeable that the cycling groups are getting older - mainly men in their 40's sitting in "socially distanced" groups on the benches by the Yacht Club, drinking beer - having their lament about how the world has gone to pot.

Elsewhere in the country it is clear that we will be heading for another wave of illness - Southend was packed on the beaches - and some areas in the North West were gridlocked with people driving to the beaches.
 This was Devon apparently ..

And Bournemouth on the beach...

But back in Burry Port as we left the front door - this little fellow was busy chewing a nut and took no notice of us only four feet away...

and so we are on to No 30 in the Shut - Down Serenades... Four Green Fields..

Cheers
