25th July 2019 - Packing

Thought for the day: "I had a goldfish that could break dance on the carpet – only for about 20 seconds – and only once"

Sadly Rutger Hauer died yesterday ... famous for many things - but I go for the Guinness adverts

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears...in...rain. Time to die.  Nah - time to Drink !!!

I thought a picture of Ancient Wales would be useful in the records..

It will probably come in useful sometime ..

The heat is again extreme and they think that it may break the UK record of 39 degrees today - that is 108 F (in real money).  I am saddened that the old Fahrenheit is not still used much these days. It was a delightfully British thing to have cold temperatures in Centigrade and high on Fahrenheit. Why did they want to make everything consistent?  For me 108F means something whereas 39 does not - except they are both hot!

actually looks as though Conquest may be cooler than the UK if the forecast is anything to go by ..
However - another day to load and clean...
Drunken Monk Teddies are helping though ...

A bit of welding today and we are ready to finish packing ....  (and melting)

6 Days to go for the start - two for the travel...

Cheers ...
