14th March 2023 - Fungus and Straw

Thought for the day :"I went to San Francisco. I found someone's heart. Now what?"

After torrential rain yesterday and winds - we wok to a sunny morning today -which was nice as Gray and Cathy are heading from Cheltenham to visit us (they are actually from St Ives but spent yesterday in a hotel in Broughton on Water)...

And so an early walk with the dogs - and spreading some straw over the duck and chicken pens as they are now like a quagmire - with two inches of liquid mud!!!

But witht he sin shining this was today's office..

and walking down the back alley from the Wizard's Retreat found this rather elegant fungus...

But, socialising and enjoying company tonight ....

Opening the Tavern tomorrow ..
