Thought for the day :"Drive carefully... It's not only cars that can be recalled by their Maker.."
Dodging the rain today - but Sarah and Dave said that they thought that the weather would be fair and that they were able to come over to help with putting the Polytunnel up...
Well Susie was hoping to do sewing and I was not really having any plans but knew that I was out for the evening for Rose Croix Meeting, but given the opportunity of some help
it seemed churlish not to get the instructions out and have a look
and that led to spreading the tarp out so we did not lose tools and bolts and nuts
and then trying to translate the instructions - which was not helped by having instructions with different reference numbers to the list - and should I mention that all the printing was in Russian?
But we managed to find out the main pieces and laid them out for starting collection.
We thought we would wait for Dave because he had done one before..
but we still waited
so we thought we would start putting it together and so we followed the instructions and started with doing all the central sections..
We get a message - 23 minutes after sending saying "we will be with you in 10 minutes"
yeah!
Well they finally arrive - don't get me wrong - I am not complaining - they are helping
but they come and tell us that we are doing it all wrong - I can live with that when I have two helpful hands to try and assist ..
Anyway - one way or another , the first stage is completed at the end of the day
though I had to get ready for a Rose Croix Masonic Meeting and seeing them all in their muddy work clothes while I was toffed up to the nines was a laugh!!
Still - from nothing to main frame in place
A bit bigger than we thought - though it only just fills the area cleared
Cheers !
