1st May 2104 - Happy Beltane

Thought for the day : "A good leader should always inspire by example. But if that doesn't work, brutal carnage and mayhem will do just as good a job."
And so I am almost packed and ready to get the van loaded. Rainy and miserable day so decided not to get up at the crack of dawn...  But unlikely to have much in the way of Blog reports for the next few days as I will be in a field ...   Sounds like a familiar concept ..

    As is your custom, I am sure you will be - if not 'outstanding', then 'out, standing,' in your field!

    How on earth do they expect that gizmo to protect that cable (hose?) from being severed by the wheels of a 20-ton train?
