10th March 2024 - A little clearance

Thought for the day :"Why is the letter W called double U and not Double V?"

Rain 48 : Dry 21
Bag 16.

Sunday, and an early option to do some work at the homestead.

Susie decided that the patio needed to be recovered, the stones needed to be cleared out and the webbing relaid and then the stones all restored and raked over.

She also attacked the bush by the barbeque. Much of it is dead, and cleared away, and we are hoping that by cutting right back it will grow from the base. we shall see.

Meanwhile, the catoniasta at the beer garden had fallen in the recent winds and needed to be re-attached t the wall so I took the opportunity of cutting all the new growths and chopping into the bags.

Meanwhile I took the opportunity of cutting most of the high growth of the climbing rose.

The grounds are still very wet - the ground area very muddy. Susie found the hole in the fencing where the ducks have been escaping - we have not had an escape all day!!

Cheers!
