9th October 2022 - Fencing in the Tavern Dog

Thought for the day :"If I don't have coffee I feel depresso"

 

So back to the gardens and the struggle to keep Toby in the garden area..   This was the effort of putting the fencing all along the roadside - sadly did not work .... After all the work he promptly appeared upon the lane !!   

 

Went back to the starting point and laid a new fence from the paddock across the hedgehog patch and to the trees at the other end - no photos yet but it seemed to work as Chris and Kate came for a celebratory bottle of wine or three - they having managed to buy a house in Pen Parc ...  So I snuck up to the lane and it was clear that Toby could not get through the new fencing ...  and then he appeared trotting up the lane so possibly jumped the gate or found another way through - not really sure what we are going to do other than try again tomorrow ...

  

So decided to cut the lawns 'cos the world is always better when the lawns are cut ...   pictures do not show the difference - but I can see the difference ..

So managed to get the coal in, chopped a lot of kindling, stacked the wood for the living room fire, tried to fix the fence  - twice!! and cut the lawns...  Still feeling a little rough with a sore throat and silly cough - but still proving negative for Covid so hoping that the Paracetamol will get me well soon.

So another day... Another week
