15th March 2020 - First Quarter - May you live in interesting times

Thought for the day:"To kill a French Vampire you must drive a baguette through its heart – Sounds easy but the process is painstaking"

So we are into Sunday and the Ides of March...
It has been an interesting three months ...  for us and for the world...
Particularly as we seem to have been treading water for a few years waiting for things to happen..
So in the first quarter, we left Europe, Australia Caught Fire, we had the worst storms for many years and flooded all over the place, royals became non royals and pushed off to Canada, America stops all flights into the US from Europe and the UK, All of Europe with its rights for free travel accross borders decide to close all its borders, Spain is Shut down, Italy is Shut down, Poland has closed its borders, pollution in China has halved, the Newport tunnels no longer have traffic jams, town is quiet as Corvid 19 changes the way everyone acts and toilet rolls ran out of the shops... Oh - and the UK seems to be wanting everyone to catch the virus to get a "herd Immunity" which may or may not work as there are rumours that in Japan people are catching the virus for a second time - which would mean that there is no immunity!!

Had a scare yesterday when Vic complained of fever, illness and was very unsteady on his feet - Susie sent him back to bed while we collected a new Welsh Dresser !! ( Thought we were trying to get rid of all the furniture not buy more - but that was not my decision!!)  When She went back in the afternoon with the thermometer to check his temperature he was up and shaved and had forgotten that he was feeling bad that morning!!  So all is well for the moment ....

In other news...

Meanwhile, we continue with the cleanliness is next to Godliness theories...

Had a day off yesterday so will have to double my attempts today int he warehouse... Still a long way to go.

Cheers !
