Had visitors today in our Socially Distancing new reality. Steve - the Flasher and the fictional Lyn arrived at Ffynnon Wen for tea and scones on the veranda, and for a tour of the estate. It was a pleasure that they were happy to divert their journey to Borth and find the heart of West Wales. a pleasure to see them. Also it meant that I could stop hacking the undergrowth behind the mermaid to give access to the view to the river - a photo I will take tomorrow - but in the quite humid temperatures had caused an excess of perspiration - I know! More information than you wanted!!

Tried to get the Kite Feeding station together today .. Had up to 10 Kites flying at sundown.
Sadly - the chicken that was put out for them went into the stomach of a large fat black labrador - while we were showing guests the sights. Suddenly saw a black dog on the top of the feeder - How did she get there ? Absolutely no idea!! No dinner for her this evening. She does not understand what she has done wrong... Try again tomorrow - but we need more offal!
