Lovely day today so out in the garden.
Cut the lawns, changed the gate to the paddock so I can get the John Deere through the gate and down to the lower quarter more easily. Hitched up the trailer to the John Deere and used it to clear some of the big bags of garden waste. Susie cleared the Water Hemlock from the streams, and I put it out to dry so we can burn it - it is apparently very poisonous to dogs.

Susie also cleared a section under the Tree Peony where we found a lot of Lily f the Valley being hidden.
I managed to get soaked retrieving the water pump from the river where it had got mired into the mud, and now Doris works well as a water feature. Have to try to seal the troll pond tomorrow if we get a chance.
Meanwhile Susie mended my little solar water feature that we inherited from my mother.
Garden beginning to come together again - though got badly stuck several times in the lower quarter with the John Deere - far to wet to use at the moment but I had to try to get down the paths.
And Toby in the water - wat a surprise!!
